Guest, Damian Creber

Mr. Creber is currently an analyst in the Leveraged Finance Group of the Investment Banking Division at RBC Capital Markets. He focuses on leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings and dividend recaps in the Canadian marketplace. He most recently spent time as an analyst at Signal Hill Equity Partners, a mid-market focused buyout fund. Previously, he was with KPMG. Mr. Creber holds a B.Comm (Distinction) from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto.

Mr. Creber will be the keynote speaker in the first Capital Markets Group (CMG) seminar of 2011. He will provide a rare and in depth “Day in the Life” of an investment banker at a large Canadian investment bank. This is an exciting opportunity for students with an interest in finance to hear a commerce graduate’s personal insight as to the steps that are necessary to reach success. Mr. Creber will also cover the ins and outs of being hired straight out of school in this increasingly competitive marketplace. Students will be provided with insight into what current employers are looking for.

At the conclusion of the keynote speech, the remainder of the allotted time will be used as a Q&A period where you can ask Mr. Creber any questions that you may have.
